CAC Yaba DCC holds Choir Concert of world class standard

It was a remarkable Sunday evening of the best of musical renditions that cut across genres such as classical, contemporary, spirituals, hymns, solos and traditional music at the Song of Praise 2019 organized by Christ Apostolic Church, Yaba DCC.



The Mega Choral Concert assembled over 400 voices who thrilled choral music lovers across denominations at Christ Apostolic Church (CAC), Yaba, Lagos.



It was an unforgettable three hours of enthralling musical voyage that calm nerves and bless souls beyond measures.



Consistently staged since March 1998, the concert has grown into a yearly feast that everyone looks forward to with interest. The choir draws membership from many CAC assemblies all over Lagos, including CAC Ebute-Metta, CAC Ligali, CAC Oke-Imole, CAC Ebute-Elefun, CAC Itire, CAC Oluti and CAC Oke Igbala Ketu among others.


The choir performed songs like Kabiyesi O Hassana by James A. Yanke, Every Time I Fell The Spirit by Williams L. Dawson, Holy Holy (Contemporary) by Tom Brooks, Mere Jir'Ogbene  and many more.


The had in attendance Latiri 1, Olubosin of Ifetedo Osun state, HRM, Oba (Elder) Akin Oyetade Akinrera, Director of Mission, CAC Worldwide, Pastor C.S. Fasuyi and Music Director, CAC Worldwide, Pastor Tope Dada among other.


While preaching at the programme, the DCC Superintendent of CAC Yaba DCC, Pastor S.E.A. Oludare said praising God invites miracle to someone's life and situation, urging everyone present at the programme to always praise God in any situation.



He said when someone make his or her house a house of praise, God will dwell there, stating that God fights the battle of those who praise Him.


According to him, a praiser has no time to complain or argue with God, he praises God in all situation.



"A lot of time when we look at our surroundings or situation of the country, we may find it difficult to praise God. When you praise God, it makes you humble. Only the humble can praise Him," Pastor Oludare stated
