The Authority of Christ Apostolic Church Worldwide on Sunday March 17, 2019 inducted Pastor Joseph Oluwemiwo Akinyomi has the DCC Superintendent of CAC Somolu Olaleye Districts Coordinating Council (DCC), Somolu Lagos.
Pastor Akinyomi was inducted by the Regional Superintendent of CAC Akinyele Region, Pastor Moses O. Yussuf at a service which had in attendance some DCC, Zonal and District Superintendents in the church.
The Cleric was indicated after been at the helm of affairs for about fifteen months.
While preaching at the service, Akinyele Regional Superintendent, Pastor Yusuff urged the church to do whatever their newly inducted Superintendent asked them to do from the scripture.
He also urged them to depend mainly on Christ which he said will give them the access to all powers on earth and in heaven.
Pastor Yusuff charged them to give their monies, time and properties for the expansion of God's kingdom in the DCC.
The DCC Secretary of CAC Somolu Olaleye DCC, Pastor D.O. Adeniyi while delivering his welcome address noted that the induction of Pastor Akinyomi marks an important phase in his life and in his service in God's vineyard.
He added that this is because it marks the formalization of his authority to preside over the relatively new DCC, even though he has been in the helm of affairs for about fifteen months.
"It is also apparent that the hand of God is in the leadership of our father in Christ, if an evaluation of the journey so far in helm of affairs in the DCC is done. Little should we be surprised for we know that he must have been committing his way unto the Lord. Our father in the Lord, Pastor Akinyomi, you are taking over the mantle of leadership of the DCC when the body of Christ as a whole needs a thorough engineering." he stated.
According to him, Somolu DCC is a peaceful DCC without doubt, saying that this is what has resulted in the rapid physical and spiritual development from a very humble beginning to the present enviable status.
He acknowledged the sterling leadership qualities of the late father in Christ of the church, Pastor S.T. Idowu who he said under his supervision God moved Somolu Olaleye to a District and Zone status until it assumed its present status of a DCC before his retirement.
