It was indeed a celebration of life and time of an icon at
the service of song organized for the Late Pastor Moses Omohrudu Idowu
Omokahgbor on Tuesday December 12, 2018.
The service which was held at Christ Apostolic Church,
Ikorodu DCC headquarters, Ikorodu Lagos was jointly organized by all CAC
assemblies in Ikorodu for the late icon.
God used Pastor Omokagbor to plant CAC Ikorodu DCC
headquarters in the year 1970 on a land that was given to him to build his
personal house. It must be noted that Pastor Omokagbor gave the church to the authority
of CAC worldwide.
The service was not only attended by all the zonal and DCC Superintendents
in Ikorodu, but by all lovers of the late icon as the congregation was filled
to the brim.
Also in attendance is the Regional Secretary of CAC Akinyele
Region, Pastor Adedayo (who represented the authority of the church) and a renowned
gospel singer, Evang. Dunni Olarewaju, popularly known as “Opelope Anointing.”
While preaching on the topic “Resurrection of the Believer,”
Pastor Adedayo urged everyone present at the programme to emulate good
testimonies share by people about Pastor Omokagbor.
Pastor Adedayo who revealed that he gained a lot from
testimonies people share about the late icon, said that the life of Pastor
Omokagbor is a challenge to all believers.
According to him, Pastor Omokagbor is no more, but his work
still speaks till today.
