The Authority of Christ Apostolic Church Worldwide still maintains its stand on the abolishment of patron, patroness and other chieftaincy titles in the church.

According to the "Agenda for End of the Year DCC and Zonal Meetings 2018" booklet which was signed by the General Superintendent, Pastor S.O. Oladele, "the titles of church patron and patroness and other similar chieftaincy titles have been abolished in CAC. But the present holders of such titles may remain so till they clock 75/70 years of age. Henceforth, no such conferment must be made and the present holders of such titles must not be replaced after they have clocked 75/70 of age."

The cleric further said that Elders or Deaconesses who have attained the retiring age of 75/70 years are no longer allowed to represent the church at DCC, Zonal, District and national meetings, stating that they must relinquish their offices such as Secretary, Treasurer etc. for younger ones to take up.

He however stated that they are allowed to attend their local assembly meetings if they desire and strong enough to do so.

On establishment of English-speaking Assemblies, the General Superintendent said the church authority has made it mandatory for all our headquarter churches to have an English Assembly separately with full time Pastor.

To be begin  with, he stated that English Service can function at separate time in the same building, adding that this is not same thing as interpretation in English from any Nigerian language in the same service.
