CAC Theological Seminary Lagos campus holds convocation ceremony today

...to dedicates multi million naira altra-modern auditorium

The Christ Apostolic Church Theological Seminary (CACTS), Lagos Campus will today Thursday, August 9, hold its 20th anniversary, convocation and dedication of its ultra-modern chapel auditorium and office complex.

According to the Coordinator, Pastor Francis Olaniyi, the programs will hold at the new chapel auditorium in Idimu, Lagos State.

He said the new auditorium, which he described as a multi-million naira building project, would enable the Seminary have the required facilities to accommodate more students’ enrollment.

According to him, the Seminary is targeted at raising ministers of God with Godly lifestyle and ministry, who are disciplined, seasoned in the knowledge of the Word of God and heaven-focused while also winning souls for the Lord Jesus Christ.

He decried that the country is what it is today because of the problem of leaders that lack the discipline of good leadership. “No society rises beyond its leadership; everything rises and falls on leadership. Many churches today are not truly making positive impact on society because a lot of their leaders are not appropriately and sufficiently trained.”

He said the mission of the Seminary is to train different levels of people of God who have been called into diverse ministries of the Gospel.

He added that admission into the Seminary is still ongoing and called for more enrolment, noting that the theological education will enable people realise the call over their lives and the reason of their existence.

He said 350 students who have studied between two to four years at different levels would be graduating from the Seminary on today. “It is part of our effort to ensure that our products are academically sound and morally unimpeachable. We run programs including, Bachelor of Theology, Bachelor of Christian Education, Diploma in Theology, Diploma in Christian Education, Certificate in Theology and Certificate in Christian Education.”

He said the ceremony would be graced by the President of the Christ Apostolic Church Worldwide, Pastor Abraham Akinosun.
