The District Superintendent of Christ Apostolic Church, Transfiguration Sango District, Pastor I.O Onibaba has stated five major reasons why Jesus Christ resurrected.
While preaching on the theme "The Resurrection of Jesus" yesterday Sunday 1st of April 2018, Pastor Onibaba said Jesus Christ resurrected to establish the fact that His sacrifice and ritual are accepted.
He stated further that Christ died to show victory over death and sepulcher.
According to him, Jesus Christ resurrected to strengthen the faith of His disciples, adding that if Christ didn't not resurrect there won't be Christianity.
Pastor Onibaba said Christ resurrected to show his disciples example.
He concluded that Christ resurrected to assure His disciples the certainty of resurrection of the death in Christ.
