The President of Christ Apostolic Church Worldwide, Pastor (Dr.) Abraham Akinosun has urged political and religion leaders in the country to look unto God for salvation, emancipation and escape from all the dangers the country found itself.
President Akinosun stated this during an interview with CAC NEWS and Channels Television at the recently held 30thanniversary of CAC Transfiguration Zone.
He noted that God loves Nigeria so much and as God is saying “look unto me and be ye saved”, Nigeria is included.
“We really thank God for giving us another year. I want the country to look unto the Lord. The Lord says in His word that “Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else.” Because the Jews refused Christ as their Lord, they have never known peace. It would be at His second coming when he will take all believers into glory that their eyes will open that they had rejected their Messiah,”

"Everyone who want to sleep now, sleeps with one eyes opened because of insecurity and other negative things in the country. But if we can look unto the Lord and call upon Him, He is not a far away God, he is very near to us and he is not an absentee God that you will call and won’t answer. He actually wants us to come to Him for salvation and if we can do so, he is going to rescue us and heal our land as well,” Pastor Akinosun concluded.
