The General Superintendent of Christ Apostolic Church Worldwide, Pastor S.O Oladele has expressed his displeasure on the unethical methods employed by some Ministers of God seeking promotion or posting.
The church administrative helmsman opined while taking clues from the books of John 3:27 and James 1:17 that it is what the Lord gives that last."We envision the church where you know nobody but yet get that which is your right ", he asserted while addressing the mammoth crowd at the recently held General Council Meeting at the Babalola International Miracle Camp, Ikeji Arakeji, Osun State,
Pastor Oladele in his usual stern principle went on to advise those that are mastery in such ungodly and unedifying act to desist hence perpetrators (where substantiated) shall be exposed and appropriate sanctions meted out.
In like manners, he admittedly regretted the low rate of promotion done last year considering the number of the church personnel who are eminently qualified.
He, however promised that an Objective System of Evaluation would be set up in recognizing and rewarding merit.
Pastors promoted to District Superintendents in 2017 are two hundred and fifty nine(259) while from Districts' Superintendents to Zonal/DCC Superintendents are seven two(72).
The following postings were done in 2017; Pastors(206), Districts' Superintendents(153), Zonal Superintendents(30), DCC Superintendents(55) leaving 7 Zonal/DCC Superintendents floating.
On retirement, just a handful was done. These are DCC Superintendents(11), Zonal Superintendents(16), DCC Superintendents(15), Pastors(97) and General Secretariat Staff(1).
