The Curate Pastor of Christ Apostolic Church, Oke Ibukun Araromi, Amazing Grace Zonal Headquarters, Ikorodu, Pastor David Abolarin has said that God expects all Christians to attain the position of a servant, friend and sonship.
Pastor David said this while preaching on the theme; “Holiness: The Essential Virtue of Christianity,” during Sunday service.
He explained further that the real position God wants Christians to attain is the position of sonship, saying that until a Christian attain the sonship position, such person’s worship cannot be accepted.
He noted that holiness has left some Christians, explaining that holiness is saying YES of God to the NO of the world.
“Living a life of holiness is more powerful than fasting and prayer. It is a life of holiness and faith in God that can make doors of answered prayers to be opened for anyone,” he stated.
According to Pastor David, one of the greatest criteria to work with God is holiness because God himself is holy, adding that working for God without no cordial relationship is a waste of time.
“In the component of holiness, the H means humility, O means Obedience, L means love, I means not I but Christ, N means No to worldliness, E means Exemplary life, S means Sinless life, while the remaining S means Salvation, ” he explained.
