Pastor Testimony Gabriel Olukunle Adekola.
Today marks a remarkable milestone as we celebrate the 50th birthday of a devoted servant of God, Pastor Testimony Gabriel Olukunle Adekola.
His birth fifty years ago was indeed a blessing to the world, as God graciously gifted humanity with a man whose life and ministry continue to impact countless souls.
Pastor Adekola is an evangelist and teacher by divine calling, uniquely endowed with profound teaching grace and spiritual insight. Over the years, he has been a tremendous blessing not only to the Christ Apostolic Church but also to the Body of Christ at large through his unwavering commitment to the gospel.
Born and raised in Ibadan, Pastor Adekola has served faithfully as an ordained minister in Christ Apostolic Church Nigeria and Overseas for over two and a half decades. Alongside his pastoral calling, he is an accomplished academician and serves as an adjunct lecturer at Christ Apostolic Church Theological Seminary, Lagos Campus, and Lagos State University.
His academic journey reflects excellence and dedication. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Theology from the United Missionary Church of Africa Theological College, Ilorin, Kwara State. He also earned both a Bachelor of Arts and a Master’s degree in Religious Studies (Biblical Studies) from the University of Ibadan. Furthermore, he obtained a Master’s degree in Philosophy of Religion and a Doctorate degree from Lagos State University, Ojo, Lagos State.
Pastor Adekola has held several key leadership positions within the church. He served as Secretary of the Sunday School Department of CAC Ebute Meta Zone and Treasurer of the Evangelical Department of the same zone (now DCC).
He also served as Sunday School Coordinator of Yaba DCC and Assistant Secretary of Lagos 1 Sunday School Department (now Akinyele Region). His leadership extended to youth ministry, where he served as Youth Coordinator of Agege DCC, Secretary of Akinyele Region Youth Department, and Sunday School Coordinator of Agege DCC.
Throughout his ministry, Pastor Adekola has ministered powerfully at revivals, open-air crusades, seminars, and conferences both within and outside the CAC mission. His passion for soul-winning, teaching, and spiritual growth continues to leave a lasting legacy.
Presently, he serves as the District Superintendent of Christ Apostolic Church Source of Blessing, Idimu Convention Camp District, under Itire DCC, Idimu, Lagos State.
He is happily married to his beloved wife, Mrs. Elizabeth Olamide Adekola, and their union is blessed with wonderful children.
As we celebrate this golden milestone, we thank God for Pastor Adekola’s life, faithfulness, and impactful ministry. We pray that the Lord will continue to strengthen him, grant him greater wisdom, and empower him for even greater exploits in His vineyard.
