CAC Babalola Regional Superintendent leads condolence visit to late Pastor Adegoke’s Family

The leadership of Christ Apostolic Church, Babalola Region on Tuesday paid a solemn condolence visit to the family of the late DCC Superintendent of Ogbomoso DCC, Pastor J. S. Adegoke, as well as the church community, in a show of love, unity, and spiritual support.

The visit, which took place at the Christ Apostolic Church, Oke Ayo, Ogbomoso DCC Headquarters, was led by the Regional Superintendent, Babalola Region, Pastor G. S. Dada, alongside a delegation of regional leaders.

The gathering held between 10:05 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. was marked by prayers, hymns, and words of comfort to strengthen the bereaved family and the church at large.

The brief service of comfort opened with a congregational hymn, Hymn Various 14, led by Pastor Joseph Awodele of With God Zone, creating a reverent and worshipful atmosphere.

The Superintendent of CAC Sanngo DCC, Pastor J. A. Agunbiade then offered the opening prayer, committing the family and the entire church into God’s hands for divine comfort and reassurance.

Scripture was read by Pastor P. O. Adams of Ajijolaoluwa Zone from Hebrews 4:1–11, with emphasis on the “Sabbath Rest” promised to God’s faithful children.

Pastor Adedeji thereafter formally introduced the Regional Superintendent and other accompanying leaders to members of the family and those in attendance.

Delivering the charge, the Regional of Babalola Region, Pastor Dada described the late Pastor Adegoke as a servant of God with a unique legacy, whose character and dedication distinguished his ministry.

He reminded the gathering that while human hearts desire to keep loved ones longer, God, in His sovereignty, calls His children home according to His divine will and purpose.

He further encouraged the family by stressing that the manner of a believer’s departure is less important than the assurance of eternal rest in Christ.

The condolence visit came to a peaceful close with the singing of Hymn 953, led by Pastor Olalude of Oke Ibukun, leaving the atmosphere filled with calmness, hope, and divine assurance.

The visit reaffirmed the unity of the CAC family and its shared faith in God’s comforting presence, even in moments of profound loss.
