Christ Apostolic Church Theological Seminary, Main Campus, Ile-Ife, Osun State, an affiliate of Joseph Ayo Babalola University, Ikeji-Arakeji, and an ACTEA accredited institution, is set to witness another milestone in her distinguished history as the institution rolls out the programme for her 44th Convocation Ceremony.
The convocation activities have been officially scheduled to commence on Tuesday 18th November, 2025 and shall run through Friday 21st November, 2025.
This was contained in an official public invitation obtained by CAC News, jointly signed by the Registrar, Pastor L. B. Akinyosoye and the Chairperson of the Ceremonies Committee, Evang. Mrs. F. O. Ilori.
The Provost, Pastor F. A. Olaniyi, speaking on behalf of the Governing Council, the Senate, the Students’ Body, and the entire Seminary community, has extended a gracious invitation to all stakeholders, including ecclesiastical authorities, theological educators, alumni, ministry partners, and the general public, to partake in what promises to be a historic and spiritually resonant occasion.
He emphasized that this convocation is more than an academic ceremony; it is a celebration of ministerial calling, a recognition of institutional achievements, and a reaffirmation of the Seminary’s enduring commitment to excellence in theological education and apostolic formation.
Preceding the official programme, a press conference is scheduled for Monday, 17th November, 2025 at 10:00am, during which the Provost will address members of the media and the public, outlining the significance of the week-long festivities.
The convocation week will be inaugurated on Tuesday, 18th November, 2025, with a Praise Concert at 10:00am, setting a tone of thanksgiving, worship, and spiritual reflection. Wednesday, 19th November, 2025, promises a robust intellectual and ministerial engagement with the Ministerial Field Experience Seminar, led by J.O Ogunyomi, Senior Superintendent of Christ Apostolic Church, Nigeria and Overseas, and the Spouses’ Seminar, facilitated by Pastor Olufemi Unction Timothy, Pastor in Charge of CAC Praise Chapel, Ile-Ife, and a distinguished authority in Christian family and marriage ministry. Both programmes will commence at 10:00am, offering participants practical insights and professional enrichment. Thursday, 20th November, 2025, will witness the Banquet and Awards Night at 2:00pm, a ceremonious occasion dedicated to honouring excellence, recognising outstanding ministerial contributions, and celebrating the achievements of distinguished members of the Seminary community.
The grand culmination of the 44th Convocation will take place on Friday, 21st November, 2025, at 10:00am at the newly completed Samuel Olusegun Oladele Multipurpose Building.
The President of Christ Apostolic Church Worldwide and Visitor to the Seminary, Pastor S. O. Oladele, is expected to preside over the formal conferment of degrees, diplomas, and certificates alongside other principal officers, dignitaries, ecclesiastical leaders, and invited guests. The ceremony will also include the commissioning of select institutional projects, symbolising the tangible legacy and visionary leadership of the current administration under the Provost, Pastor F. A. Olaniyi.
