The town of Iwere’le in Oyo State once again witnessed a mighty outpouring of God’s power as the 9th edition of the annual Iwere’le Crusade, themed ‘More Than Conqueror’, was held from Monday, September 1 to Friday, September 5, 2025.”
The week-long revival, convened by the District Superintendent of Christ Apostolic Church (CAC) Peaceland District, Lagos, Pastor F.A. Oke (JP), drew worshippers, ministers, and visitors from far and near.
The week-long spiritual gathering drew worshippers, ministers, and attendees from near and far, climaxing in a Friday night vigil that left the community charged with revival fire.
In his opening message on Monday, Pastor Oke declared that the believer’s victory is permanent and not seasonal, anchored on the finished work of Christ at Calvary. “We must rise as Christ’s soldiers, unafraid, unwavering, and unashamed to defend truth, justice, and the gospel,” he charged, urging participants to intercede fervently for the land, leaders, youth, and families.
A solemn moment came as attendees observed a one-minute silence in honor of the late wife of the Oniwere of Iwere’le Land, committing her soul into God’s rest.
The crusade’s guest revivalist, Rev. Olu Olawuyi, was mightily used by God throughout the week in sessions of word exposition and prophetic prayers. He reminded believers that no matter the challenges faced, their ultimate victory is rooted in Jesus Christ.
On Friday, September 5th, the crusade featured a Career/Health Talk and a Ministers’ Conference at Emmanuel Baptist Church, Iwere’le. Guest speaker, Superintendent of CAC Odi-Olowo DCC, Lagos, Pastor D.O. Ogungbenjo, highlighted everyday practices that introduce toxins into the human body, such as improper food washing, consumption of chemically preserved produce, and inadequate hydration. He also emphasized the need for regular exercise, clarifying that strenuous labor is not a substitute for physical fitness.
The crusade climaxed in a powerful “Night of Twelve Prophets” vigil on Friday night, where twelve anointed ministers ministered in prayer, prophecy, and the Word. Among them were Pastor Enoch Adisa, Pastor S.O. Ogundare, Pastor J.F.I. Gbadegesin, Prophet E.O. Olayiwola, Pastor F.A. Oke (JP), and Pastor D.O. Ogungbenjo.
The Iwere’le Crusade, which has become a yearly spiritual landmark, continues to transform lives, with the 2025 edition reinforcing the timeless truth that in Christ, every believer is more than a conqueror.
