At the 2025 Prophetic Gathering held in Alafara, Ibadan on Friday, January 31, Christ Apostolic Church Nigeria and overseas General Evangelist, Prophet Hezekiah Oluboye Oladeji ministered a powerful message recounting the miraculous acts of the God of our Fathers.

He emphasized God's ability to transform lives, bringing individuals from penury to glory and from obscurity to prominence.

Prophet Hezekiah raised a profound question: "What are the acts of the God of our Fathers?" He then answered highlighting God's power to resurrect the dead and restore the lost.

He recounted a story involving the late Pastor Oba I. B. Akinyele, who assured a grieving father that his son, who was presumed drowned, would return home. Miraculously, two years later, the young man returned with two children, accompanied by a crowd just as Oba Akinyele had accurately prophesied.

The General Evangelist highlighted God's ability to transform darkness into light sharing a personal testimony from 2002 when God brought light to his hometown, leading to the confession and demise of witches.

According to him, the transformation was so great that the king summoned Prophet Hezekiah who acknowledged that the event was a sign of restoration of light in the land.

“This God of Our Fathers we are talking about transformed numerous habitation of darkness into light. In 2002, the Lord brought light into my hometown such that witches then began to confess and died afterwards in front of their houses. Some even lamented that it was due to the prayer Hezekiah prayed yesterday.” He narrated.

“After the number of death recorded got to two hundred and one people, the king summoned me to come home and I told him that God had restored light into the land. The day light enters into your house, your cease stumbling and slaving; you need light.” He noted.

Prophet Hezekiah also spoke of God's provision and guidance. He recounted an incident where a man, struggling to obtain a visa after multiple attempts, followed divine instructions to visit Alafara and give money to anyone he met there. His obedience to the divine instruction led to the approval of his visa.

“Last year a man came to my office and said he had been attempting to travel abroad, gone through interviews seven times in 14 years and I heard the voice within me to tell him to go to Alafara. When you enter the compound, anyone you see there, give them money and leave and he did. Upon getting to the embassy, the white man who attended to him said “I am convinced, I want to help you. Come for your visa tomorrow.” He recalled.

Referencing Psalm 36:7, Prophet Hezekiah emphasized that the God of Akinyele performs wonders beyond human comprehension.

He described God as dwelling in unapproachable light, turning forbidden forests into abodes of the Holy Ghost's power.

“The God of our Fathers lives in the light that eyes cannot behold. He gives power to the light; He turned the forbidden forest into an abode of the power of the Holy Ghost. He made great light, yet He turned darkness into light.” He noted.

Each of the General Evangelist’s points was punctuated by powerful prayer points and prophetic declarations, prompting the congregation to pray fervently, trust deeply, and experience the miraculous power of the God of Akinyele.

The gathering featured powerful ministrations by C.A.C. regional evangelists including Pastor Gbenga Fashola (Medaiyese Region), Pastor Princewill Aimienoho (Hanson Region), Prophet S.O. Olukosi (Babajide Region), Pastor Osasona (Babalola Region) and the Coordinator of Christ International Divinity College (CINDICO), Prophetess Betty Olukotun who also testified to the remarkable works of God through the late Pastor Oba I.B. Akinyele.

The Prophetic Gathering also featured soul-stirring song ministrations by Evang. (Mrs) Shade Taiwo, whose powerful and heartfelt worship lifted the spirits of attendees and created an atmosphere of reverence for the “God of our Fathers” as captured in the program’s theme.

This year's prophetic gathering drew members and non-members of C.A.C. from within and outside Ibadan city providing a means for attendees to worship and tap into God's unstoppable power, which was still palpably evident at the venue.

Yaba DCC, Pastor S.E.A. Oludare and his wife who is a grandchild to Oba Akinyele; and other ministers across the region. Some of the other family members of the late president and representatives of the current Olubadan of Ibadan land were also present.

The annual programme, organized by the C.A.C. Evangelical team is aimed at honoring and highlighting the Godly legacies of the first president of Christ Apostolic Church, Pastor (Oba) I.B. Akinyele.
