Christ Apostolic Church, Temidire Onajimi Districts’ Coordinating Council (DCC), Lagos was set on fire for Christ on Friday, 8th November, 2024 as the Youth fellowship held her DCC Youth Night 2024 at the DCC Headquarters.
The programme, themed ‘Manifestation of God’s Glory’, brought together youth from various local assemblies and districts within the DCC for an evening of worship, prayer, and reflection on God's purpose for their lives.
The vigil featured inspiring musical ministrations, with the DCC Youth Choir leading powerful songs of praise and worship. Their performance set the tone for an evening of spiritual reawakening, allowing participants to engage in heartfelt worship. Additionally, choirs from various district within the DCC also delivered inspirational ministrations, while two guest music ministers, Lady Evangelist Ojo Adelola and Evangelist Dare Judah, also blessed the congregation with soul-stirring ministrations.
Participants were led into fervent prayer sessions, asking for the grace to fulfill their destinies and to bring glory to God through their lives.
The Superintendent of Temidire Onajimi DCC, Pastor J. Ayo Daramola centered his sermon on the theme, ‘Manifestation of God’s Glory.’
He reminded the congregation that God's glory is not just a distant promise but a present reality that should be evident in the lives of believers.
He said, "There are works waiting for you to manifest, and that is why you must manifest God's glory in everything you do."
Pastor Daramola encouraged the youths to step into their divine purpose, knowing that God’s glory would be revealed through their actions, faith, and dedication.
In his welcome address earlier delivered, the DCC Youth Coordinator, Pastor Dr. E.O. Oketola charged the youths to harness their energy for the advancement of God's kingdom.
He emphasized that the youth are the “future and backbone of the church,” and that through their active involvement in God's work, they would experience His glory in their lives.
Pastor Oketola urged the congregation to explore their talents, resources, and energy to serve the Lord and make a difference in the world.
The leadership of CACYOF Somolu Centre, represented by the Centre Secretary and CACYOF Somolu DCC Coordinator, Evangelist Samuel Olamide Osifuye and the CACYOF Somolu Olaleye DCC Secretary, Mr Adeoye Salako graced the programme.
