As the world commemorates this year's Valentine's Day today, Wednesday February 14, 2024, the Regional Youth Coordinator of Christ Apostolic Church, Akinyele Region, Pastor Olu Olorunpomi has said God-kind of love is proven by how one relates and treats those who cannot repay or reward you.
Pastor Olorunpomi who stated in his Valentine's Day/Ash Wednesday message obtained by CAC News.
He also posited that true love is both spiritual and sacrificial, urging everyone to go beyond sensual and be sensible.
In his exact words; "today is Ash Wednesday and it's also Valentine's Day. How do we combine the pensive mode of Ash Wednesday with the excitement of love in the air? Romans chapter 5 verse 8 says 'But God put his love on the line for us by offering his Son in sacrificial death while we were of no use whatever to him.' True love is both spiritual and sacrificial. Let's go beyond sensual and be sensible!"
"The God-kind of love is proven by how you relate and treat those who cannot repay nor reward you. The love you experience is the love you express. As I personally appreciate your love, I pray God's greater grace upon you for unstoppable testimonies this Lenten Season, in Jesus name!"
