The President of Christ Apostolic Church, Nigeria and Overseas has urged Christians across the globe to love everyone without expecting anything in return from anyone.

He noted that as Christians, our relationship with everyone must be based on love without expecting anything in return.

Pastor Oladele stated this on Monday January 8, 2024 while ministering at the new year welcome service of Christ Apostolic Church General Secretariat, Ibadan. Staff of CAC General Secretariat were overwhelmed with unlimited joy in appreciation to God for a successful 2023 as they resume office for the 2024 calendar year.

Quoting Luke chapter 10 from verse 25 to 37, Pastor Oladele told the staff of CAC General Secretariat that loving some people may be extremely difficult but not impossible.

He added that it doesn't matter who anyone encounters as a believer of Christ, without minding race or religion, one has a duty to them which is to love.

He identified racism and depersonalisation as part of the problems of this generation, adding that; "when you look at a person and you depersonalize him/her, what you're saying is that the person is not human. Depersonalisation shouldn't be the language and act of Christians."

Citing the example of the Good Samaritan, the Clergyman told CAC General Secretariat staff that; "as we resume work this year, our dealing with others must be characterised by love. When we do anything good to others,

we shouldn't expect anything back, just like the good Samaritan."

Pastor Oladele stated that; "Loving our neighbors has to do with loving our so called enemies. When you love, you don't judge others. Some people are fonf of judging both the action and motive. We shouldn't be judgmental. We should try to understand why people behave in some ways. Our Lord Jesus Christ was wrongly judged by the Pharisees and Sadducees at all times."

The CAC President implored the staff not to try to impress anyone, but by the service they offered, honour will come to them.

He added that; "real honour and respect come when we serve. Do you want to be great and honouref? When you serve, the God of honour will honour you."

While giving appreciation on behalf of CAC General Secretariat, the Admin Manager, Elder Kola Oyerinde appreciated the church authority for everything done to staff in year 2023, particularly last year December.

Giving further appreciation to the church authority, Elder Oyerinde revealed that the newly approved salary scheme for staffs will be fully implemented from January 2024.

He further urged the staffs to be more steadfast and work diligently this year.

The Regional Superintendent of Babalola Region, Pastor G.S. Dada who was in attendance in company of some DCC and Zonal Superintendents in the region assured that the region will give more support to the General Secretariat.

Major features of the programme include praise and worship, opening prayer, scripture reading, choir ministration by CAC General Secretariat Choir, Special Prayers for CAC Nigeria and Overseas, Nigeria, Oyo State etc.

The service had in attendance apart from the President, the General Superintendent, Pastor Emmanuel O. Odejobi, General Evangelist, Prophet Hezekiah O. Oladeji, General Secretary, Pastor Emmanuel E. Mapur, Finance Director, Pastor Johnson F. Omitinde and Missions Director, Pastor Caxton S. Fasuyi.
