The Regional Superintendent of CAC Babalola Region, Pastor Dada in his sermon, described death as the path to life.

Pastor Dada, while advising Christians to move closer to God, noted that everything acquired in life by man will become vanity one day.

He described the late Prophet Olowere as a man who used his life to serve God and humanity.

"There is nothing in this world because all these things we are seeing are for the meantime. The moment God commands death to take life, it takes it immediately. Death is coming and it will not delay. Death is the servant God uses at appropriate time to take one home. God has arranged that death should be pathway to life for Christians. No matter the years you will live on earth, you will die. It's one thing to make arrangements for your funeral, but what arrangement are you making for you soul? Death is not the end, but the beginning of a new journey to eternity. How prepared are you for eternity? Make preparation for your soul where your spirit will be in the last day. Baba Olowere prepared for the future. He knew that the Savior (Jesus Christ) was coming to take him home. He was sure of the status of his soul. If you're unsure of the status of your soul you need to get it right with God now. Make a decision of giving your life to Christ as Baba Olowere did many years ago, if you refused to do so you will be lost for life," he said.

The Senator representing Oyo South Senatorial District, Barrister Sharafadeen Alli, who was also at the event, described the late Prophet Olowere as someone who was always interested in the welfare of people around him and someone who always spoke the truth to power.

Senator Alli, while speaking, said, “I have known Baba for quite a number of years. He is someone who is always interested in the welfare of people around him. He believed in the development of human race."

Prophet Olowere would be laid to rest this morning at CAC Oke-Agbara, Ashi, Ibadan.
