The General Superintendent, Christ Apostolic Church, Nigeria and Overseas, Pastor Emmanuel O. Odejobi has told ordained ministers that refusal to grow will turn them to environmental and momentary ministers.

"Any minister who refuses to grow will become environmental and momentary ministers," he said.

Pastor Odejobi stated this while giving his General Superintendent's speech on the theme of the conference, "Proving your Growth Through Sound Doctrine" at the just concluded CAC Pastors' Conference 2023 held at Joseph Ayo Babalola Memorial International Miracle Camp, Ikeji Arakeji, Osun State.

Seeing the massive attendance of Pastors, the cleric expressed his gratitude to God saying, "despite destructive criticisms against this church, regardless of the tempestuous times the church goes through, who would imagine this kind of congregation of Pastors."

He then charged the pastors to make it known to all men through "our actions and comportment that we are positively imparted in order to impact the world."

Explaining Matthew 5:14-16, the General Superintendent stated that light is something that proves, something that neutralizes the power of darkness and is a source of electricity, adding that salt, salt ensures the sweetness of things.

Addressing ordained ministers of the church, he continued that "the more we imitate people who are not imitable, the more we disappoint the one who has given us the opportunity to be where we are."

Making allusion to Moses in Hebrews 11:23-26, the clergyman explained how Moses counted all things as nothingness for God and gave his all, challenging the ministers to keep their focus towards the goal in order to receive the reward ahead of them.

"Focus towards your goal of you want to receive a reward. We must come to maturity to prove our growth and not be like them who draw back," he stated.

Pastor Odejobi emphasized the need for Grace and the Holy Spirit as he led the pastoral congregation to praying for power to control their self will.
