Christ Apostolic Church, House of Prayer, United Kingdom has commenced her annual prayer conference with the theme "The Days of Elijah." The programme holds from 24th to 30th July, 2023 at the church premises.
The programme has two services daily: morning dew- 7am and evening session 6pm to 8pm UK time.Day one of the conference which was yesterday witnessed an unprecedented move of the Holy Spirit as lives were abundantly blessed.
Declaring the conference open with a short address, the host, Pastor Damilola Aje said although the man Elijah came into the scene in a time of great idolatry and wickedness even in high and unexpected places God's backing separated him from the rest of the pack.
Pastor Aje said Elijah stood before God before standing for Him, he didnt seek friendship, favour or played games with the wicked/sinful people including the ungodly king,he focused on his assignment.
The cleric further charged the congregants to be in the conference in every sense, as God will bless His people greatly.
Furthermore, Pastor Remi Agbabiaka ministered online from Lagos, Nigeria on the topic "They that Know their God." The cleric said the scripture Dan.11:32 is very illustrative and that three things were said clearly in that passage which are "knowledge of God", "being strong" and "doing exploit. "
He posited that knowing God is deep and it involves knowing that God made all things, is above all, controls all things and all things answers to Him.
