The joy of the congregants at Christ Apostolic Church, Ogbagi Zone, Ogbagi-Akoko, in Akoko North West Local Government Area of Ondo State, knew no bound on Tuesday June 27, 2023 when Odubanjo Regional Superintendent paid an august visit to the Zone.
Pastor Akanmu was received by the Zonal Superintendent of Ogbagi Zone, Pastor Emmanuel Folorunsho Osomooba, other ministers and members of the zone.
While delivering his homily, Pastor Akanmu, who expressed optimism that the Zonal Superintendent and the entire church gave him a very warm welcome and appreciate the Zonal Superintendent who has rightly lead the congregation well to receive him, said that the Zonal Superintendent has been a good leader pious and live aboveboard.
Reeling out qualities of Ogbagi Zone, Pastor Akanmu said, “the zone has been a walking and working blamelessly.
He said all the Ministers of God in the zone must be good leaders, must have good reputations and must uphold the tenets of Christ, adding that they must not be obsessed with money, must be able to manage their home and raise Godly children.
The Regional Superintendent, however, advised the leadership of the church to promptly pay pastors' remuneration as and when due, noting that the prompt payment could be achieved through consistent commitment to tithe and offerings.
"The church should also heed to the faultless counsel and work together with all the Minister's of God the Regional Superintendent," Pastor Akanmu said.
Speaking on the sidelines of the August visit, Ogbagi Zonal Superintendent, Pastor Osomooba appreciated God and the Regional Superintendent of Odubanjo Region for embracing them, elevating them wholeheartedly and visiting them despite his tight schedule and the prevailing situation of country.
He also noted that the zone at large never took his visit for granted.
The Regional Superintendent Pastor Akanmu prayed for the Zone.
