Despite the new things the Lord is doing through His children at Christ Apostolic Church, The Gambia, the President of the Church, Pastor Samuel O. Oladele has urged the brethren to prepare for a great rain of revival.
Quoting I Kings chapter 18 verse 44 which says "and it came to pass at the seventh time, that he said, Behold, there ariseth a little cloud out of the sea, like a man's hand. And he said, Go up, say unto Ahab, Prepare thy chariot, and get thee down, that the rain stop thee not," Pastor Oladele told CAC brethren in The Gambia that what they are seeing presently is "cloud like hand of man", great rain, just like how Elijah experienced is coming.
Pastor Oladele stated this on Tuesday April 11, 2023 at the Welcome Service organised to formally welcome him and his entourage to The Gambia held at CAC Gambia headquarters, Tallinding, The Gambia.
He told the missionaries that it's not everybody that can do what they are doing for the Lord, saying it's not an easy job.
We appreciate you, we thank God for your life for the patience He has given to you and for the success you're recording. We appreciate the Missions Director, Pastor Caxton S. Fasuyi. God bless you. It's only God that can reward His servants adequately. It's not about money, it's about passion for souls. Many are in the ministry for what they will get out of it, rather than what they will put into it," the President said to the missionaries.
As part of activities for the Apostolic Visit of the President, he will pay a courtesy visit to President of the Republic of The Gambia, His Excellency, Mr. Adama Barrow, Nigerian High Commissioner to The Gambia, Ambassador Mohammed Manu; dedicate Highland School Annex at CAC The Gambia headquarters, declare Cape Verde Mission, ordain new Pastors, appoint new Elders & Deaconesses at the 22nd Anniversary Thanksgiving of CAC The Gambia.
