CAC Calvary DCC welcomes new Superintendent, Pastor Joe Jacobs

 



As a saying goes that "the end of a season marks the beginning of another", Christ Apostolic Church, Calvary Districts' Coordinating Council (DCC), Warri, Delta State has welcomed Pastor Joe Jacobs as the new Superintendent of the DCC after the transfer of her immediate past Superintendent, Pastor Michael Kayode Ehinmode.


Pastor Ehinmode, who was the DCC Superintendent of Calvary DCC for 6 years and 2 Months (January 2017 - March 2023) was transferred to CAC Amuwo-Odofin DCC, Lagos while Pastor Joe Jacobs transferred from Amuwo-Odofin DCC to Calvary DCC.


Pastor Joe Jacobs was welcomed to Calvary DCC in a short service for his honour on Wednesday 15th March, 2023 at Christ Apostolic Church Mount of Blessing, Calvary DCC headquarters, 31/33 Okere Road, Warri, Delta State, Nigeria.


He was warmly welcomed by Ministers, Elders, Deacons, Deaconesses, men, women, youths and children of Calvary DCC. During the welcome service, the pupils and students of C.A.C Mount of Blessing Nur/Primary and Secondary Schools sang to honour God in the life of Pastor Joe Jacobs. The choristers also sang a short welcome song just before his welcome speech.


Pastor Joe Jacobs preached on the topic: "The Destiny of Every Believer" using Numbers 9:15-23 as reference, where he encouraged his audience and every believer in Christ to discern and be ready to obey every command of the Lord being paramount to fulfilling destiny in life, and also that they won't be lost forever like some of the Israelites who perished in the wilderness.


He prayed for the church and her members and he was also prayed for.


Pastor Jacobs was accompanied by his wife, two of his children, ministers, elders, deacons, deaconesses of Christ Apostolic Church from Ibadan and Lagos (C.A.C Amuwo-Odofin DCC), as well as other members of his family and close allies.
