The remains of late Pastor Moses Babatope Waleole Ojo, the father of the Superintendent, Christ Apostolic Church, Vineyard of Mercy Districts' Coordinating Council (DCC), Pastor Anu Ojo has been laid to rest.

The late icon who died October, 2022 at age 94 was laid to rest on Friday January 20, 2023 in Efon-Alaaye, Ekiti state. Before he was laid to rest, a service of songs was held in his honour at CAC Vineyard of Mercy DCC headquarters, Lagos on Monday January 16, 2023.  Also, Laying in State/ Christian Wake Service was held on Thursday January 19, 2023 in Efon-Alaaye, Ekiti state.

At the church outing service held on Friday January 20, 2022 after he was laid to rest, the President of Christ Apostolic Church, Nigeria and Overseas, Pastor Samuel O. Oladele while ministering said paraventure a sinner gets to heaven, the place will be hotter to him than hell fire because he won't be able to behold the holiness of God.

While correcting the misconception by some preachers that Christians and worshippers of other religions are serving same God, Pastor Oladele said we are not going to same place with those who don't have Christ.

The President who said there is life after death, stated that the lesson from Lazarus and the rich man is that they both met each other somewhere and they remember who they were on earth.

"After life on earth, there is life in eternity and that is why nobody should kill himself. After death, the saints shall be transported by angels of God to meet Christ. The second angel are angels of the devil and he will take unbelievers to hell. If a sinner gets to heaven, heaven will be hotter to him than hell fire because he won't be able to behold the holiness of God. We are not going to same place with those who don't have Christ," he stated.

He said to the congregation that there is no second chance after death, everyone still has grace now, after death the door of grace would be closed.

The service had in attendance apart from the President, the General Superintendent, Pastor Emmanuel O. Odejobi; General Evangelist, Prophet Hezekiah O.
