Pastor Odefemi inducted pioneer Superintendent, as CAC Tudun-Fulani district inaugurated

The authority of Christ Apostolic Church, Nigeria and Overseas has inaugurated CAC Tudun-Fulani district and inducted Pastor Olutayo Solomon Odefemi as the pioneer District Superintendent.

The inauguration and induction service was anchored by the immediate past Zonal Superintendent of CAC Bwari Zone, Pastor I. Roy Akin – Akinyinka who represented the church authority.

The service had in attendance the District Superintendent of Redemption District, Pastor Emmanuel Daodu, Liberty District Superintendent, Pastor Okunola, Glory District Superintendent, Pastor Atoyebi Ayofe and many others.

Pastor Akinyinka while sermonizing the congregation congratulated the new district members and also conveyed the authority's felicitations to the church of God.  He ministered on the topic "The Characteristics of an Effective Minister" taken from Colossians 1: 24–27.

In his message, he highlighted some characteristics of an effective leader which includes; he must be ready to suffer for the church and he should be willing to lay his life for the sheep.

Pastor Akinyinka reminded the inductee that in the course of his service he will be wronged, rebuked and be hated (2 Timothy 2:3).

The Cleric further said an effective minister is the servant of the church (verse 25), adding that;"a servant is somebody who is serving the church, as a minister of God, if you can’t serve the church, you will be a failure. You need to serve the children, youth, women, men and everyone (Luke 22 : 27). An effective minister must be a faithful steward (verse 26-27), be faithful and trustworthy in all ways, to the church of God, the authority and every other person."

He also admonished the Church of God to always perform their responsibilities to the Authorities both at the local and national levels and also take good care of the ministers of God as this is a way of invoking God’s blessings on them.

Gifts were later presented to the inducted pastor by family, friends and well-wishers.
