The Authorities of Christ Apostolic Church, Nigeria and Overseas, have inducted Pastor P. O. Olayiwola as the pioneer District Superintendent of the newly inaugurated Land of Praise District, Mowe Zone, Mowe, Ogun State on Sunday December 11, 2022.
Along with the induction was the appointment of Elders and Deaconesses by the Church Authorities represented by the Zonal Superintendent, Mowe Zone, Pastor M.A.O. Ajetunmobi.
It was a joyous day as families and friends from far and near celebrate with Pastor Olayiwola and the District at large.
According to the District Secretary, Pastor Olayiwola O. Moses, while giving the welcome address at the inauguration, "all glory, honour and adoration to God who is the only reason for the manifestation of today's celebration and success. May His name be praised."
During the sermon, the Zonal Superintendent of Mowe Zone, Pastor Ajetunmobi strongly admonished the newly inducted Superintendent and appointed Elders and Deaconesses to support the work of God and never forget their duties in the house of God.
The Clergyman while preaching on the topic, "The book of law", said it is important that everyone studies and follows the word of God so as to get divine direction.
According to him, "the book of the law is the word of God, a powerful weapon in the hand of every child of God. It is important that we all take note of the importance of the word of God not just to read but to do everything it says."
He noted that, anyone who does not want to dwell in darkness must find light, the word of God is a light to our feet, adding that, obedience to the word of God brings success, as we must see to strict obedience to it.
He added that in this present world we dwell in, it is the power of the word of God that can uphold and unite our nation, urging the congregants not to relent or be weary for God's presence is certain.
The Zonal Superintendent prayed for the church and the newly appointed Elders and Deaconesses as he awarded their certificates.
The program ended with a thanksgiving as friends and well wishers celebrated with the newly inaugurated District Superintendent.
