The Authority of Christ Apostolic Church, Nigeria and Overseas has inaugurated CAC House of Prayer Districts' Coordinating Council, Edo State and inducted Pastor Princewill Aimienoho as the pioneer DCC Superintendent.

At the service held on Sunday October 30, 2022 the DCC was inaugurated and Pastor Princewill was inducted by the Regional Superintendent of Hanson Region, Pastor E.O. Aigbokhai who represented the church authority.

While ministering at the programme on the topic "This Baby Will Not Die", the Zonal Superintendent of Maraba zone, Pastor Raymond Aigbose liked baby Moses to be the newly inaugurated DCC and the newly inducted Superintendent.

He noted that though Moses was born in a very terrible time when every make child was to be killed but the mother resolved by faith that this baby will not die.

Pastor Aigbose further said that in the same manner we must be ready to protect this DCC against any thing that can destroy the DCC.

He added by saying that today's Pharaoh is sin, disobedience, worldliness etc. hence we should avoid such.

He concluded by proclaiming that this baby will not die but fulfill the God given destiny.

A brief profile of Pastor PRINCEWILL AIMIENOHO

Pastor Princewill Aimienoho was born in Benin City on 17th April, 1976. His father, now of blessed memory, was Mr Augustine Aimienoho who retired years later as an ASP of the recently re-named Nigerian Correctional Services. His mother is Deaconess Rose Aimienoho.

Young Princewill's academic journey began at Iguodala Primary School in Benin City in 1981. Following his successful completion of his primary education in 1987, he gained admission to the famous Edo College, Benin City. He was there from 1988 to 1993....

Eventually, in 1998, Princewill was admitted to Auchi Polytechnic, Auchi. After two years of studies there, he was awarded the National Diploma, ND, in Electrical/ Electronics Engineering.

Thereafter, he had his Industrial Training for one year with Integrated Rubber Factory, KM 6, Benin-Sapele Road, Benin City.

Having completed his industrial attachment, he went back to Auchi Polytechnic, Auchi, for higher studies....

While studying for the Higher National Diploma, he got involved in Campus Politics. He was so active that he ended up as the Senate President of the Student Union Government Legislative Council in 2003.

It is heartwarming to note that, to God be the glory, his involvement in Campus Politics did not impact negatively on his academics. In 2003, he bagged the Higher National Diploma, HND, in Electrical Engineering (Power & Machine Option).

He was consequently mobilized for the National Youth Service Corps. As a Youth Corps member, he was deployed to Ekiti State; and he served in Ado-Ekiti with the then National Electric Power Authority, NEPA.

Fresh from National Service in February of 2005, he had two mouth-watering job offers. He also had prospects in politics (having, as we have noted earlier, been trained in the furnace of Campus Politics). But that was when he received the call to go into full-time ministry with Christ Apostolic Church.

He didn't hesitate.

He started a prayer fellowship on the 13th day of July, 2005. Within a couple of months, the prayer fellowship metamorphosed into Christ Apostolic Church House of Prayer. That was in September of 2005; and the nascent CAC assembly took off in a rented place along Agbor Park Road, in Ikpoba Hill area of Benin City. To God be the glory, the assembly has since moved into its own property....

Meanwhile, Evangelist Princewill Aimienoho (as he was then known) had enrolled with the Christ Apostolic Church Theological Seminary (Irri Campus). Having taken the Diploma in Theology, he was selected for training to be ordained as a pastor. The training took place at Ile-Ife; and he was appointed the Secretary to the 2010 Pastoral Ordination Training. After the training at Ile-Ife, the Ordination took place at the Babalola Memorial Camp, Ikeji-Arakeji, Osun State and he thus became an ordained minister of Christ Apostolic Church Worldwide in 2010.

In spite of his busy schedules, Pastor Princewill Aimienoho has found time to deepen his theological education.... In this connection, he holds the B. Theology (Baptist College of Theology) and Bachelor of Religious Studies of the Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma.

By the help and grace of God, CAC House of Prayer became a Centre and Pastor Princewill the Centre Pastor on the 12th day of November, 2017. It may be of interest to note that the Centre grew into three districts – Shiloh District, Dominion District and Mercy District....

Pastor Princewill Aimienoho became the Acting District Superintendent of Shiloh District on the 7th day of June, 2018. He was confirmed a substantive District Superintendent on 1st March, 2021. He became an Acting Zonal Superintendent on the 2nd of August, 2021. He became a substantive Zonal Superintendent on the 16th of February, 2022. A little over three months later, on the 25th of May, 2022, the authorities of Christ Apostolic Church graciously elevated Pastor Princewill Aimienoho to the position of Districts Coordinating Council Superintendent.

On the home front, Pastor Princewill is blissfully married to Mrs Blessing Princewill-Aimienoho (neé Ehimen) and the marriage is blessed with three sons....

Pastor Princewill Aimienoho, in the midst of all his studies and duties have time to be committed to the growth and progress of the Christ Apostolic Church Youth Fellowship, CACYOF.

As a matter of fact, Pastor Princewill has been very active in the CAC Youth Fellowship.

His dedication and the grace of God led to his appointment as the Assembly Youth Coordinator of CAC Jesus Never Fails.

He was a two-time CACYOF Coordinator, Auchi Polytechnic – during his two spells as a student of that Polytechnic.

He was also District Coordinator, CACYOF Oregbeni District; Zonal Coordinator, CACYOF Ogbeni Zone; and State Coordinator, CACYOF Edo State.

Pastor Princewill Aimienoho was the Regional Coordinator, CACYOF Hanson Region – a position he held from 2018 until earlier this year 2022.

Presently, he is the CAC Hanson Regional Revivalist. Hanson Region, by the way, covers Edo and Delta States.

Pastor Princewill Aimienoho is also presently a member of National Youth Advisory Committee of Christ Apostolic Church Nigeria and Overseas.

In addition to that, he is also a a member of CAC World Evangelistic Committee.

A BRIEF HISTORY OF CAC HOUSE OF PRAYER DCC

Christ Apostolic Church, House of Prayer started as a Prayer Fellowship on Wednesday, the 13th day of July, 2005 in a small store at No 49 Benin-Agbor Road, a building along the Express Road which was freely given to us by the landlady Madam Dolly Omoregie.

The fellowship grew until it became clear to all that there was the need for the members of the fellowship to hold Sunday services. Consequently, the members of the fellowship came together and held the first Sunday Service on the 25th of September, 2005, and thus the fellowship transformed into a full assembly of Christ Apostolic Church called "CAC House of Prayer" with the then Evangelist Princewill Aimienoho as the Assembly Minister, and with CAC House of Prayer under Oregbeni District, which was then under Edo Districts Coordinating Council and Pastor Philip E. Afemikhe and Pastor A. C Otugo (both of blessed memory) being the District Superintendent and DCC Superintendent respectively.

Less than five calendar years later, the assembly moved to this present location on the dedication day of the present Children auditorium on 30th of May, 2009.

CAC House of Prayer was granted the status of a "Centre" by Pastor J.A Ayedun the then Zonal Superintendent of CAC Ogbeni Zone on 12th November, 2017; and thus the assembly which started a little over decade earlier began the journey of elevated progress.

House of Prayer Centre with other churches was later granted 3 Districts Status namely, Shiloh District, Mercy District and Dominion District on 7th of June, 2018 by the Church Authority to operate under Ogbeni Zone.

With the fatherly consent of Pastor E. O. Bada the Ogbeni DCC Superintendent, the House of Prayer 3 Districts were granted Zonal Status by the Church Authority on 2nd of August, 2021.

House of Prayer Zone was graciously upgraded by the Church Authority to the status of a DCC to operate under their own DCC with immediate effect on the on 25th of May, 2022.
