The National Chairman of Christ Apostolic Church Men's Association (CACMA), Pastor G.O. Obiwale has said anyone who will experience growth in the grace and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ must have personal encounter with God like Apostle Paul on his way to Damascus and he must be a man of growing maturity, growing daily in faith and advancing in the study of the Word.

He also said "such must be a man of serious prayer. Like our founding fathers Apostle Joseph Ayo Babalola, Prophet Samson Akande, Pastor/Oba I.B. Akinyele e.t.c, he must be a man of transparent holiness. He should be a man of the Word of God (Rom.1:16). He must be a man who has sound principles and a good example. He must be a man of godly home and of model leadership. He must be a man like a ladder, broadminded and matured."

Pastor Obiwale stated this while ministering on the topic "Growing in Faith" at the 70th CACMA Conference holding at CAC Babalola Memorial International Miracle Camp, Ikeji-Arakeji, Osun State.

According to him, we are saved by grace through faith (Eph.2:8-9), and we are matured and are sanctified by grace alone.

According to him, Christian growth is about the quality of life, it is about how much closer we are getting to God, adding that christian growth is about character change.

"How much do we show love to our wives, our children and people around us? Jesus said this, 'I have come that they may have life and that they may have it more abundantly (John.10:10). 'God has a process for Christian growth. It begins and also continues by grace and we are growing in the grace and knowledge of our Lord Jesus and Saviour Jesus Christ," the Clergyman stated.
