The Regional Coordinator, Christ Apostolic Church Youth Fellowship (CACYOF), Akinyele Region, Pastor Emmanuel Olu Olorunpomi, has stressed on the need for commitment and other godly virtues as a product of discipleship in marriage.

Stating that "every divorce started with 'I love you.' So, love is not enough. There are stages you will get to in marriage that love will not do it again. Commitment will do it," he described understanding as "the truth you stand under."

Speaking on the topic, "Discipleship: The Process of Blissful Marriage" under the text, Isaiah 51:1-2, at the 2022 Ikeji 2 Youth Conference holding at Babalola Memorial International Miracle Camp, Ikeji-Arakeji, Osun State, Pastor Olorunpomi pointed that there is difference between marital settlement and marital fulfilment, such that "you may be settled maritally and not fulfilled maritally."

Describing marriage as a project, the Secretary, Ikeji 2 Youth Conference Planning Committee expressed that, "you cannot talk about success if there's no project. Marriage is a project. Marriage is sweet work. If you get it right, you'd get the work."

"For you to succeed in marriage, there's a process, and you must manage the process. That process is discipleship," the cleric said.

Emphasizing the importance of discipleship in marital relationships, the clergyman related that there is difference between members and disciples, as disciples are those who are ready to lay down anything.

Pastor Olorunpomi who lamented that some people know hymn, but they don't know Him (God), stating that "they get lost in the work of God that they forget the God of the work."

Speaking to the youths, the cleric who stressed the need for evangelism in the local church, said "he who owns your heart, controls your wallet. He who owns your heart, controls your life."

"If you didn't come to church by Evangelism, you will find it hard to engage in evangelism. With discipleship, you can grow to engage in Evangelism. You need to be a disciple," he said.

Revealing that believers are having issues in their marriage as a result of lack of discipleship, the Christ Apostolic Church minister pointed that, "if you can get discipleship right, you'd get your marriage right. Once you don't get discipleship right, most likely, you'd get your marriage wrong."

Encouraging the youths, Pastor Olorunpomi who cited that alternative attraction is the biggest problem in marriage, declared that "before you set for a blissful marriage, be set for blessed discipleship."
