It would be recalled that early this year in conformity with the constitution of the church, the General Executive Council members and all working committees having served the stipulated term, were dissolved.

After constituting and inaugurating GEC members few months ago, the President of the church, Pastor Samuel O. Oladele inaugurated GEC working committees at the service held at CAC All Saints' Chapel, CAC General Secretariat, Ibadan.

Working committees inaugurated are: Conferences and Convention Planning Committee, Evangelical Committee, Publication Committee, CACTS Governing Council, CACTV Board, CAC Press Committee, Christian Education Governing Board, Youth Advisory Committee, Good Women Advisory Committee, CAC Men Association Advisory Committee,Project Implementation and Management Committee, Disciplinary Committee, Legal Advisory Committee and many others.

In his address at the inauguration, the President of the church, Pastor Oladele said consequent upon the dissolution of the previous General Executive Council and the re-constitution of a new General Executive Council on Wednesday May 11, 2022, the church authority announced that details of membership of the new committees, as well as specific Terms of Reference for their operations, shall be provided at a later date.

He continued that:"today, by the grace of God, we have gathered here to formally inaugurate the re-constituted committees as well as new ones which are considered necessary in view of present-day realities. Committees are usually created to work upon specific needs which are identified in an organisation. And in order to realise the objective of setting up such committee, their membership must be drawn from people who have the requisite knowledge, capacity, interest and commitment to the goals of the organisation.

"Membership of the various committees that will be inaugurated today, are drawn from the rich pool of human resources with which Christ Apostolic Church is blessed. Furthermore, new committees have been created to handle critical areas like Project Implementation and Management, and Legal Advisory issues among others. Also, the Conferences and Convention planning committee has been mandated to plan, organise and ensure seamless execution of all our Conferences and Conventions. This means that all fellowships/departments shall submit proposals, for their annual conferences, to the Church Authority through the Conferences and Convention Committee. This is the reason why all heads of fellowships/departments in the Church, as well as their supervising pastors, are members of the Conferences and Convention Committee."

Pastor Oladele stated that for the avoidance of doubts, the Conferences and Convention Committee shall supervise the execution of all conferences to ensure that they comply with the vision and value of our Church.

He told the committees that they have been appointed to represent the Church Authority on the various committees and the church believes that by putting “round pegs in round holes” our Church will be more effective and efficient.

The President further said to them that:"you are to work strictly in line with the Terms of Reference given to your committee so that, in collaboration with other arms of the Church, we shall be able to achieve our corporate objective, to the glory of God.We pray that you will succeed in the work that has been committed into your hands."

Pastor Oladele concluded by quoting Acts chapter 20 verse 32 which says;“So now, brethren, I commend you to God and to the word of His grace, which is able to build you up and give you an inheritance among all those who are sanctified."

Apart from the President, other Principal Officers of the church in attendance are the General Superintendent, Pastor Emmanuel O. Odejobi, General Evangelist, Prophet Hezekiah O. Oladeji, General Secretary, Pastor Emmanuel E. Mapur and Finance Director, Pastor Johnson F. Omitinde. The Missions Director, Pastor Caxton S. Fasuyi and his wife were unavoidably absent.
