History was made on Sunday, August 21, 2022 as Christ Apostolic Church, Isoji District was inaugurated and Pastor M. K. Olaiya inducted as the pioneer District Superintendent.
The inauguration and induction service was conducted by the Superintendent of CAC Olushi Districts' Coordinating Council (DCC), Pastor J. B. Olajide who represented the Church Authority.
It was a memorable day of unending joy and celebration as family, friends and associates of the District and Pastor Olaiya gathered to appreciate God for the new feat.
The District's Secretary, Mr Olufemi Itasanmi, on behalf of Isoji District Superintendent, welcomed everyone to the inauguration and the induction service.
He said, "I want to give all glory, honour and adoration to the all sufficient God and the Maker of Heaven and Earth, who has given us the strength to withstand the ill treatment bestowed upon the church of God by the wicked/unhappy neighbours of the same faith. But against all odds, the church of God is still waxing stronger in the Lord"
While ministering at the programme on the topic "I Know Thy Works", the Superintendent of CAC Olushi DCC, Pastor Olajide said there is nothing that God does not know about you, stating that he controls the whole universe.
He noted that God sees the works, contributions, behaviour and even the pretense of every man in His house, adding that, "God knows your strength and weakness, he will pay you according to what you weigh."
"God has chosen you, he has placed you in a certain position to perform some duties. If you fail to carry out your duties, there is no reward for you no matter the gifts and talents he has given you, he wants you to utilize what is in you," Pastor Olajide stressed.
According to him, "God is the only faithful rewarder, not your friend or your Pastor. God can never make a mistake, your work and worth before Him determines what your reward would be before Him. There is no excuse for laziness before God He knows your capacity."
The Olushi DCC Superintendent charged all the assemblies under the newly inaugurated District to work and walk with God in love and in His fear.
The District's inauguration Committee presented an award of quality leadership and excellence to the newly inaugurated District Superintendent as others presented their gifts.
The programme had in attendance family, friends and well wishers of Pastor Olaiya; the Superintendent of Olushi DCC, Pastor J. B. Olajide; retired Pastor J. A. Eleti and many others.
