A Popular Drama Minister, Christian Movie Writer, Director and Producer, Evangelist Damilola Mike-Bamiloye, has shared the story of his struggles growing up, adding that for everyone walking in glory, there is a story.

Damilola Mike-Bamiloye speaking on the topic, "Transforming the Society through Arts, Culture and Entertainment" on Thursday, July 21, 2022 at the workshop segment of the ongoing Christ Apostolic Church Youth Fellowship (CACYOF) 2022 Academic Summit at Joseph Ayo Babalola University (JABU) Ikeji-Arakeji, Osun State.

Sharing his life experience with the excited and highly receptive youths, the Drama Evangelist said that he was discarded by the society for the shortcomings he had growing up, stating that "there is nobody God cannot lift up. If the whole world discards you, God can embrace you."

The first son of the popular legendary Gospel Actor, Mike Bamiloye, who shared how he could not read and understand anything despite the efforts from his parents and teachers, was rejected and was not at par with his mates academically and intellectually; testified that the first book he could read and write is the Word of God - the Bible.

He continued that he struggled academically all his life, but "if you trust in God, He can help you come out in flying colours."

The prominent Mount Zion Films figure told the students that, "you cannot transform the society if you haven't discovered purpose, and you cannot discover purpose if you haven't discovered God."

Explaining the stages of climbing up the ladder to success and becoming a Transformational Agent in the society, Damilola Mike-Bamiloye shared that there are, discovery stage, preparation stage, testing stage and stage of manifestation.

According to him, discovery of purpose is the first stage as he discovered he could write drama scripts despite his academic flaws, adding that God told him not to worry about his struggles but to start ministry.

"Discover purpose, discover it now. Start now. There is no time," he said.

Damilola Mike-Bamiloye urged his congregation to be very prepared during the preparation stage, describing that "it is the stage no one sees you at all. It looks like you are on your own."

The Gospel Script Writer furthered that the testing stage is the stage where the devil wants "to collect what is in your hands," stating that the devil "can give you the whole world to take what is in your hands because he knows what is in your hands is bigger than the whole world."

Advising the youths not to fail the testing stage, he presented that many people have accepted the glory of this world for that thing the devil has collected from their hands."

Damilola Mike-Bamiloye added that, "purpose grows. It is like a seed. When it's planted, it will grow. God is calling your attention because he wants you to start now."

"You are not an entertainer, you are a life-transforming person," he concluded before praying heartily for his audience.
