Christ Apostolic Church, Ketu 1 Zone has held her Refresher Course and First Zonal Anniversary Thanksgiving service.
The refresher course with the theme, "Growing In The Grace And Knowledge Of The Lord", was a 3-day program which took place from Thursday, June 23, 2022 to Saturday, June 25, 2022.
It was loaded with impactful lectures handled by seasoned teachers including the Zonal Superintendent, Pastor I. O. Falobi; Pastor Rotimi Olusheye; Pastor Solomon Okeleye; the Chairman of the Planning Committee, Pastor Femi Oyenekan, Pastor Oluwafemi Abe, Pastor John Egbi and many others.
The first day of the course had only ministers in attendance, the second day was the turn of the Ministers and their spouses, while the third day hand in attendance Ministers, Elders, Deaconesses and Workers across the Zone.
The program was rounded up on Sunday with the First Anniversary Thanksgiving Service of the Zone despite its 7 years existence as a Zone.
The theme of the Thanksgiving Service being "Let Us Praise The Lord", had in attendance the Zonal Superintendent, Pastor I. O. Falobi; the Zonal Secretary and the Superintendent of Isheri Olofin District, Pastor Oluwafemi Abe; the District Superintendent of Mountain Of Wonders District Ogijo, Pastor S. O. Okeleye; the Planning Committee Chairman, Pastor Femi Oyenekan; Pastors, Evangelists (male and female), Elders, Deaconesses and members.
In his anniversary message, the Superintendent of the Zone, Pastor Falobi urged all members of the zone to learn from King Jehoshaphat in 2 Chronicles 20:17-22 who when the people of Judah were faced by a fierce battle from the men of Ammon, Moab and Mount Seir, turned to God for help and sang praises to the Lord.
He said our eyes and hearts should be focused on God in the face of life's challenges and when we hold our peace and give Him praise, He would step in and fight on our behalf.
