Christ Apostolic Church Orogunal Campus retreat which held on Saturday, May 1st, 2022 at CAC Latona Osogbo, attracted students from across campuses within and outside Osun State.

The retreat themed "Leaders led by God's Spirit" culled from Acts 6:3 enjoyed the presence of the Regional Superintendent, Pastor E. S. Famuyide, Pastors and Coordinators of campuses as well as students from tertiary institutions.

Pastor Famuyide advised the President and executives of the various campus fellowships to allow their schools and the offices they occupy to work as mould to shapen and sharpen them so as to be useful for themselves and God in the future.

One of the Guest Speakers at the retreat, Pastor Dr. Akangbe, who spoke on the topic, "Leaders led by God's Spirit" identified the qualities a leader God will lead must possess as, "be submissive and God fearing (Act 10:1-4); Study God's words (Ps1:1-3, Joshua 1:8); Allow himself to be disciple; Must be discipline; Open to correction; Learn to listen; be Compassionate."

He continued that such leader must also exhibit natural traits, including, "honesty and faithfulness (1 Cor 4:12); Accountability (Gen 39:6, 2King 12:15); Initiatives (John 14:10-18); Must show enthusiasm to things of God (Nehemiah 8:10, Pro. 17:22, James 5:13); Intelligence; Show empathy."

Pastor Sola Oladele, taking the third lecture and speaking on "Opportunities, Problems and Faith" expressed that "Everyone or thing that must sanely and noiselessly occupy a space must solve a problem otherwise it will constitute a nuisance and be a channel of quarrels. The essence of creating man is to manage and solve problems. Problem serves as yardstick to measure who truly wants the next level."

Explaining the good sides of problems, he stated that, "Christianity is simply an entity going about solving problem because we believe God is with us, did same when He was here physically and commissioned us to same. Acts 10:38. And you know that God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power. Then Jesus went around doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with him."

Pastor Oladele summed that, "Opportunity is not only about luck because if you have it without adequate preparation you will run foul of it, neither is it about prayers only it is readily available in abundance. If only you can be a man filled and led by God's spirit, of Faith and living to your responsibility of solving problems, then you will make every opportunity count."

A workshop tagged "BECOMING A SUCCESSFUL, GOD FEARING ENTREPRENEUR IN THE 21ST CENTURY" held by Barrister Oladele who highlighted the following as things to note to become a successful entrepreneur, "Discover a need around you and make an opportunity out of it; don't just dream it, but do it; pay attention to details; do not be afraid of making mistakes; prudence; know your worth; maintain positive relationships; set and meet deadlines; focus on helping others; get involved in your business; believe in yourself; and do not seek help in Egypt."

The second workshop, held by the President of Christ Apostolic Church Students Fellowship (CACSF), Obafemi Awolowo University, Brother Adeyeni Temitayo Israel, who spoke on "Verified Online Businesses" listed the top digital marketing skills students can acquire and engage in, "Freelancing, Email marketing, Copywriting, Website development, Affiliate marketing, SEO, Video production and marketing and Content marketing specialist."

He addressed the need to have a change of mindset and having a definition of value before starting an online business; noting that, "your consistent thoughts have a way of manifesting in your life, build a right mindset. Selling your value is what brings you money."

The retreat ended on an impactful note, after enlightening, Spirit-filled sessions and rain of prayers with parting words for the students to be doers of God's word and a need to revisit the retreat manual.
