Christ Apostolic Church, Orogun Region (Osun State), on Saturday January 22, 2022 held a welcome service for her pioneer Regional Superintendent, Pastor E.S. Famuyide.
The service was held at Orogun Regional headquarters, CAC Osogbo DCC headquarters, Osogbo, Osun State. Pastor Famuyide arrived around 10am and was joyfully received by Ministers and members of the Region.
Taking his text from the book of Psalms 104 lines 1-28, the Superintendent of CAC Oyan DCC, Pastor J. A. Afolayan admonished the congregation on the topic "THAT WHICH HE GAVE IS WHAT WE HAVE GATHERED."
The Cleric encouraged all Ministers and Members of the newly created region to first of all be appreciative and then be committed to the course of the Lord within the Region and the Church at large.
Pastor Afolayan prayed for the glory of God to direct the affairs of the Region under the Superintendent in the name of the Lord.
In his reaction, Pastor Famuyide, the Regional Superintendent, firstly thanked all the organizers of the welcome service and he reeled out the surprising incidence which amazed the whole congregation.
He said when he arrived the country in his early ministerial days it was in the hand of the revered late patriarch, Pastor J. B. Orogun that he landed.
In fact he was consecrated by Baba Orogun who impacted a lot of ministerial virtues on him. And later on, when the authority created the Orogun Region and mentioned his name to be the pioneer Superintendent, he said he was so surprised and thus realized the reality of what is called divine providence in life.
The service had in attendance Superintendents of many DCCs and Zones within the Region as well as District Superintendents, Pastors, Evangelists, Prophets, Prophetesses, Midwives, Ministers' Wives, members of the CACMA and Good Women Association. The Youth Fellowship representatives were not left out too with the host of numerous well wishers and leaders of the host church CAC Latona Osogbo.
