Pastor Atoyebi inducted 3rd Superintendent of CAC Glory district

It was a glorious day as the name of the district implies when Pastor Ayofe Atoyebi was inducted as the 3rd District Superintendent of Christ Apostolic Church, Glory District, Bwari Zone, Abuja.

Pastor Atoyebi was inducted by the Zonal Superintendent of CAC Bwari zone, Pastor I. Roy Akin-Akinyinka who represented the church authority.

In his welcome address, the Acting District Secretary, Evangelist Israel Adegoke appreciated the authority of the church for promoting the inductee to the rank.

He gave brief the foundation history of the district to the time of Pastor E. O. Daodu as the assembly Pastor of Mount of Joy, Bwari, now the Zonal Headquarters of the zone by establishing English Assembly which comprised majorly students and few adults. Pastor Atoyebi and few others were among the pioneer members. The assembly snowballed into a Centre and to a full fledged district on 30th June, 2009.

In his message tagged "Shepherding Christ's Flock into God's Kingdom" from 1 Timothy 4:6-12, Zonal Superintendent of Bwari zone, Pastor Akin-Akinyinka, admonished Pastor Atoyebi and other ministers of God present at the occasion to always lead by example and also advised the Sheep, that is, the congregations to obey their leaders.

The children choir, Korede Band and District choir added glamor to the occasion.

The climax of the occasion was the declaration of the Kogo assembly, a - 3,000/5,000 capacity auditorium as the headquarters of the district.  The former assembly which could not accommodate more than 400 worshippers and for lack of access road having been chocked with buildings remains an assembly under the district.

Dignitaries present at the occasion included Bwari Area Council officials led by their chairman and leagues of ministers inside-out Christ Apostolic Church.
