It was a day of celebrating Jehovah Shammah at the 26th anniversary thanksgiving service of Christ Apostolic Church, Hosanna Chapel, Life and Power Zonal headquarters, Lagos, held on Sunday December 12, 2021.
The anniversary which started with a week revival programme with the theme "Jehovah Shammah" from Monday 6 to Friday 10, 2021, had in attendance members of the church, assemblies and district under the zone.
While ministering at the programme, the Zonal Superintendent of CAC Life and Power Zone, Pastor Mich 'Tunji Oladapo urged the people to determine to be more dedicated to the service of the Lord than ever.
Commenting on how to enjoy God's presence, the Cleric implored the people to fear the Lord, walk in all His ways, love Him and serve Him with all their hearts and souls (Deut.10:12), observe all His commands and decrees (perfect obedience).
The Cleric also emphasized living pure and holy life, running from sin as part of the conditions to enjoy God's presence.
Pastor Oladapo further urged the congregation to be kind, hospitable, generous like Abraham, be bold and courageous.
"Forget about your past successes and achievements. Realize that there is always room for improvement. No matter how much you have done, let this consciousness be in you that 'I have not done enough,'" he said.
