The District Superintendent of Christ Apostolic Church, Peaceland District, Pastor F. A. Oke has urged Christians to use this period to move closer to God.
Pastor Oke stated this in his Christmas message exclusively obtained by CAC News.
He also said that Christmas is not really about gifts or material accumulation, although they could be wonderful, but what truly matters this season is the love inside our hearts for the people around us.
"Let the fear of God rule our daily undertakings and acceptable service unto our Creator.We should serve God with all sincerity and do away with evil tendencies. I see the coming year 2022 as another year of vengeance, even from the pulpits to the shrines, but God will take care of the saints.The crux of my message is that we should be closer to God than never before," he stated.
