CAC Kosofe DCC headquarters celebrates 49 years of God's faithfulness

It was a glorious moment at Christ Apostolic Church, Kosofe Districts' Coordinating Council (DCC) headquarters as the church celebrated her 49th harvest anniversary.

The service took place on Sunday 12th December, 2021 at the church residence in Kosofe, Ojota, Lagos with the theme "The Living Word" (text taken from Heb 4:10-12).

While ministering at the programme, the District Superintendent of CAC Victory in Christ District, Pastor J.A Adedokun emphasising on the potency of the word of God said the word of God has been potent from the beginning, Jesus Christ is the word and no one can separate Him from God.

According to him, the word of God gives rest of mind, serves as protection, reveals who God is and it is the lamp unto our feet.

"As you are spending money and giving tithe and offering in church today, does God knows you as His child?" he asked the congregation.

He ended the sermon by reminding the congregation that;"don't forget we are on earth for a limited time and we are visitors, one day we will be harvested.  For us to get to the glorious home prepared for us by Jesus, we must have the Word of God in us."

Speaking at the programme, the Superintendent, Christ Apostolic Church, Kosofe Districts Coordinator Council (DCC), Pastor Joshua Goodness Miller thanked God for the success of this year's anniversary and also appreciated everyone who contributed to the success of the programme.

He therefore disclosed that the church would be celebrating her 50th harvest anniversary in 2022, urging people to get prepared.

Pastor Miller revealed that there would be two major anniversaries next year which are founders anniversary where all fathers will be invited including the President of Christ Apostolic Church, Nigeria and Overseas, Pastor Samuel O. Oladele and the second one would be harvest anniversary.
