CAC President, Pastor Samuel O. Oladele

The President of Christ Apostolic Church, Worldwide, Pastor Samuel O. Oladele has described some preachers as advertisers of goods that cannot be found in God's supermarket.

These kind of preachers, according to Pastor Oladele, tell their congregation that immediately they give their lives to Christ, they wouldn't have to face any trouble in life.

The CAC President urged such preachers to desist from such act, stating that life is full of many hours and one of such is the hour of darkness.

The Cleric who stated this while ministering at the burial service of the former Superintendent of Mushin DCC, Pastor John Oyebanji on Friday October 22, 2021 explained that; "God won't intervene during the time of darkness because darkness is a necessity, it must come. There is nobody who will come to this earth and won't have his or her share of the problems of the world. Baba Oyebanji had his share of the problems of life."

Speaking on the topic; "The Brevity of Life" (Job 14:1-2), the President said human beings forget a lot of things, hence, the possibility of forgetting the truth in Job 14:1-2 which points to the short span of life irrespective of the years one spends on earth.

He noted that irrespective of the name one is given (Kokumo, Arikuyeri etc.), one shall die, adding that life is short and it is a process.

The President stated that we must all agree with the fact that life is short and decaying and in that case, we must fulfill our assignments on earth.

According to him, "we should love the Lord, serve the Lord. Be diligent in the duty assigned to you. Anything you want to do in the Lord, do it now. 'Now' and 'today' are the languages of the Bible. Don't procrastinate. Time doesn't wait for anyone. The brevity of life teaches us to be patient under trouble. We shouldn't be deluded that there won't be trouble in this life, but those troubles are for a short time."
