A delegation of members of the planning committee of Evangelist Daniel Kolenda Crusade paid a courtesy visit to the President of Christ Apostolic Church, Nigeria and Overseas, Pastor Samuel Olusegun Oladele last week at Oba I. B. Akinyele Complex, Anlugbua, Basorun Ibadan.

The delegation, comprising the African Director of Christ for All Nations evangelistic crusade, Rev. John Darku, the Ibadan Crusade Chairman, Rev Israel Olaseinde, the Vice Chairm an Dr. OlatundeOladoyinbo, Rev. Mike Boyeji, the Assistant Crusade Secretary, Reverend T. O. Morakinyo, the mobilisation Officer, Pastor Abraham Akinpelu, the DCC Superintendent of CAC Agbala Itura, a member of the Crusade Planning Committee, Evangelist Macdonald Okechukwu, the P. A. to the African Director, Rev. Femi lbikunie and Pastor Adediji Olusoji, was at the CAC headquarters to seek the support of the Church leaders for the upcoming crusade of Evangelist Daniel Kolenda, the Successor of the Late. International Evangelist, Reinhard Bonnke.

Speaking during the visit, Rev. John Darku, the African Director of CfaN recalled how he was introduced to worshipping God by a Christ Apostolic Church Evangelist way back in the village in Ghana and was taught how to pray the Apostolic way at nine years old. He recalled that this early exposure to Christ had sustained him till now in his Christian journey.

He said that was why it was important that Christ Apostolic Church leaders and members are part and parcel of the forthcoming crusade in Ibadan from November 11 to 14.

He, therefore, urged the President and other Principal Officers of the Church to mobilize ministers and members of the Church to support the crusade actively.

Earlier, as he was introducing the African Director of CfAn, Rev. Olaseinde, the Ibadan Crusade Director said Evangelist Daniel Kolenda is the successor to Late Evangelist Reinhard Bonnke whose evangelistic exploits is well documented all over Africa and Nigeria in particular. He said there is no way a crusade of the magnitude being planned for badan can be done without involving the Christ Apostolic Church.

Welcoming the delegation on behalf of the leadership of Christ Apostolic Church, the President of Christ Apostalic Church, Nigeria and Overseas, Pastor Samuel Olusegun Oladele stated that he was first informed of the crusade in June this year and he had immediately delegated two prominent Youth ministers in CAC to join the steering committee of the crusade.

He recalled that the delegates' visit brought fond memories of the first crusade by Evangelist Bonnke at the Liberty Stadium in April 1990 when he (Pastor Oladele) served as the Head of the Counselling Team.

Rev Darku still remains in that organisation for such a long time, adding that not many associates can pass the test of patience and loyalty as has been displayed by Rev. Darku.

He commended Evangelist Daniel Kolenda as a worthy successor of Evangelist Reinhard Bonnke. He prayed to God to give him the grace to surpass the achievements of his predecessor.

He assured the team of the participation of CAC Pastors and members in the crusade, even if he may not participate fully until towards the conclusion of the crusade.

The delegation presented some books authored by the Late Reinhard Bonnke. Earlier the General Superintendent of Christ Apostolic Church, Pastor Emmanuel Olatoro Odejobi had presented the delegation with a gift on behalf of the CAC authority.

Others who received the delegation with the President of CAC were the General Superintendent, Pastor E. O. Odejobi, Pastor E. E. Mapur, the General Secretary and Pastor J. F. Omitinde, the Finance Director.
