Iwere-Ile 2021 Power Crusade: Clerics, Kings, Chiefs, Community members pull out to pray

Christ Apostolic Church, Peaceland District headquarters, Lagos under the leadership of Pastor F. A. Oke, in conjunction with Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Iwere-Ile chapter, Iwere-Ile, Oyo State, has pulled down the hands of God as Ministers of God, Kings, Chiefs and members of Iwere-Ile town gave themselves to prayer at the ongoing power crusade at Iwerele town, Oyo State.


The crusade, held at the open-ground of Iwere-Ile Town Hall, Oyo State, on Wednesday, September 15, 2021 witnessed a large turnout of the community members, the town chiefs, and the King of Iwere-Ile, Rev'd (Evang.) John O. Odedokun was also in attendance.


The host minister and convener of the crusade, Pastor F. A. Oke, the District Superintendent, CAC Peaceland District, Odi-Olowo DCC, Lagos, stated that three Kings from neighbouring communities had attended the crusade the previous day.


The invited ministers, Pastor S. O. Ogundare and Pastor S. O. Abolarin, took turns to lead the community in prayers to God for their lives, children and community.


While Pastor Ogundare urged the congregants to pray earnestly to experience the touch of God in their lives; Pastor Abolarin gave an exhortation from Luke 16:19-31, emphasizing from the story of Lazarus and the rich man that, actions may be covered but there can't be impunity.


Pastor Abolarin, citing Biblical examples of persons who reaped what they sowed, charged the congregation to sow good fruits such as taking care of ministers of God, the needy, and exercise patience so as to enjoy the blessings of God in due time.


The open-air powerful crusade continues and lasts till Friday, 17th September, 2021.
