Christ Apostolic Church, Land of Joy District, Lagos, on Sunday June 20, 2021 held appreciation service for her former Superintendent, Pastor J.O. Akinyomi.
Pastor Akinyomi who was the District Superintendent of Land of Joy District for three years, from 2014 to 2017, was honored for his diligence and integrity while in service at the District.
During his address, Pastor Akinyomi mentioned that he enjoins everyone to accord all appreciation, recognition, and glory to God, noting that he was just a mere man that was used of God.
In his message titled “Abide in Him”, he encouraged the church to see and know Jesus only in all their doings and not to be swayed by the philosophies and deceptions of mere man.
The service saw Pastor Akinyomi and his family presented with a testimonial plaque with an inscription detailing all the works and achievements of the Districts during his time as the Superintendent before being promoted as the DCC Superintendent of Somolu-Olaleye.
