The Zonal Superintendent of Christ Apostolic Church, Power of His Word Zone, Ibadan, Pastor Ayobamidele O. Peter has said every worker in CAC must not only be Christ Ambassadors, but must also be an adherent to the doctrine of the Church.
He noted that it is not ideal for a female worker in CAC to be using earrings, necklace, wearing trousers or clothes that expose private parts of the body, noting this should not be done in or outside the church.
Pastor Peter stated this while ministering at the 2021 Ministers' and Church Workers' Refresher Course organized by CAC Sanngo Districts' Coordinating Council (DCC), Sanngo, Ibadan, Oyo State.
While emphasising on qualifications of the church worker, the Cleric said church workers must be born again, reliable and faithful, teachable, honest, sanctified, prayerful, available and must have godly appearance.
He also said church workers must not be partial, have servant attitude, not covetous and must know how to manage the tongue.
According to him, a church worker must be reliable and faithful to God, the local church authority and his or her family, adding that the authority must carefully and prayerfully carry out some investigation before assigning anybody as a worker in the church.
"A church worker must be honest to God, the leadership and the congregation. This will enable him or her protect his or her integrity. A church worker must be set apart for things of God, become separated by your dedication to holy living which leads to acceptable service," he said.
