CAC Sanngo DCC holds Appreciation and Celebration Service for Pastor Akinosun

It was a celebration of a fulfilled ministry and exceptional tenure of office when Christ Apostolic Church, Oke-Iyanu, Sanngo Districts' Coordinating Council (DCC) headquarters, Saango, Ibadan held appreciation and celebration service for the President of CAC Worldwide, Pastor Abraham O. Akinosun.

The service, which was held on Saturday December 12, 2020 at Sanngo DCC headquarters was purposely organized to celebrate the outgoing President of our great mission who was a one time District Superintendent of Sanngo District.

While delivering the welcome address at the programme, DCC Superintendent of Sanngo DCC, Pastor J.B. Agunbiade said in the 55 years existence of the church, many ministers have come and gone, but Pastor Akinosun was unique.

He noted that Pastor Akinosun was transferred to the church as an Assembly Pastor, but was promoted to District Superintendent before being transferred to Itire District in Lagos.

He said his (Pastor Akinosun) time at Sanngo was marked with many achievements which he highlighted.

According to Pastor Agunbiade, the church was an object of attack by enemies of the church when Pastor Akinosun was posted there, saying that God used Pastor Akinosun to win the battle, not only for the church but for CAC Worldwide, adding that, "you came, you saw, you conquered. "

Pastor Akinosun while ministering on the topic “With Purpose of Heart Cleave Unto the Lord” at the programme taking the text from Acts 11:23-24 said some things that will help one to cleave unto the Lord are humility and faithfulness, holiness, prioritising the kingdom of God, persistence in prayer and forgiveness.

He said through humility and faithfulness we know truly who Christians are, noting that we grow in grace through cultivating character in our lives.

Pastor Akinosun stated that humility is vital in our walk with God and when we maintain a humble heart before the Lord, we allow the Holy Spirit to use us as vessels of His grace and mercy.

While urging people to live a holy life, he said the pure in heart understand God’s heart and revealed mysteries, adding that “God reveals His plans to friends, who keep themselves separated from the snares of the enemy and of the world. For you to be holy, fulfill the Bible and ensure purity of your heart. Psalm 24:3-6 has told us how. Read the Bible devotionally; make it as a pattern of your life, be a Bible based believer and watch your Christian life through the Bible.”

Pastor Akinosun appreciated the DCC Superintendent, his wife and the entire church who made the occasion workable.

The church seized the opportunity of having the President around to dedicate her newly acquired bus.
