The Choir and Orchestra of Christ Apostolic Church, Love of God Zonal Headquarters and District recently held her 56th Choir Festival Service.
The Choir Festival themed "IGBA YI" was held at the Zonal Headquarters at Mushin, Lagos Sunday 29th November, 2020.
The 56th Festival Service was a world-class music festival laced with songs like "Ina Olorun Elijah" by Dr. D.K Olukoya and arranged by Seun Owoaje, "Khumbaya" by Henri William Otsomotsi, "Emi Yio Yin Oluwa" by Jibola Oluyelu, "Orchestra Performance" entitled Tempest and Hungariy Dance 5, "Igba Yi" by Bidemi Oyesanya, "Dodimu" by Yemi Akinpelu, "In Time Like This" by Ruth Cage Jones and conducted by Elder Segun Akinloye, "The Lord's my Shepherd Tune" by Crimond, "O ye Kadupe" by Dayo Oyedun, " Kajiire" by Bidemi Oyesanya.
In his charge, the Music Director of CAC Olorunsogo, Pastor Philip Ayeni said this season is beyond COVID-19, saying all pandemics in the world are saying something that the proud should be humble.
He added that children of God are not supposed to be afraid of anything no matter the circumstances and are not to be put in darkness no matter what happened.
According to him, God wants every believer to be close to Him and wants to have a relationship with Him, adding that God is calling on the Church to meet the needs of people.
"The world is at war with the Church because the devil now has his agents among church planters. Today people play politics in church," he said.
