Nobody can work in isolation in the ministry, says Pastor Oyeyemi as Odi-Olowo DCC welcomes back Orelope and House of Blessing Districts

It was a day to promote unity in the body of Christ as Christ Apostolic Church, Odi-Olowo Districts' Coordinating Council (DCC), Lagos holds reunion service for CAC Orelope District and CAC House of Blessing District.




The reunion service which was held at CAC Odi-Olowo DCC headquarters on the 10th of October, 2020 was graced by the Regional Superintendent of CAC Akinyele Region, Pastor Moses O. Yusuff.




The programme was held to promote brotherly love and unity among the two Districts and the Districts' Coordinating Council (DCC). CAC NEWS gathered that the two districts agreed to come back as districts under CAC Odi-Olowo DCC after seven years of separation.



Speaking at the reunion service, Akinyele Regional Superintendent, Pastor Yusuff said love must be evident before people can stay together in unity.




Highlighting what love is and what it is not according to 1 Corinthians 13:4, the Regional Superintendent of Akinyele Region said “love is patient and kind, love does not envy nor boast, love is not rude neither self seeking, love is not easily angered, love keeps no record of wrongs.”




While concluding his charge to the two districts, he urged everyone to allow the love of Christ to reign.




Meanwhile, in an interview with our correspondent, Pastor Yusuff said “it is my joy that every assembly in Christ Apostolic Church worldwide should be in unity, because It is when we work together in unity that we can make huge progress.”




He said “I urge every assembly in Akinyele region to be in unity, unity in progress that will proclaim the name of the Lord Jesus Christ for Church expansion and not selfish interests."




In an interview with CAC NEWS, the DCC Superintendent of Odi-Olowo DCC Pastor J. T. Oyeyemi, expressed how happy he is that the districts are back under the DCC.




He said, “by God's grace, I engineered the reunion programme, and I am happy because that is what God wants. Nobody can work in isolation, we have to work together for the progress of the work of God."




The cleric, while advising CAC Orelope and House of Blessing districts, said, “I advise the two districts to come with the heart of God, the heart of unity. We are one big family, and in unity we stand, divided we fall."




The District Superintendent of CAC House of Blessing, Pastor A. B. C. Akomolafe who also administers the church of his late friend (late Pastor Gabriel Oladuni) CAC Orelope district while speaking to CAC NEWS said “when we left the DCC about seven years ago, it was not our intention to leave totally, it was because of the little issue that happened then, but because of the love our DCC Superintendent showed towards us and his advice, hence we came back under Odi-Olowo DCC.”




Expressing his feelings, he said “I am very happy to be back here, because I left here on the 9th of October 2013, so it is like I came back home.”
