Christ Apostolic Church, Babajide School of Prophets and Evangelists, Ilesa Campus of CAC Theological Seminary, last weekend held its 27th convocation ceremony and graduated 366 students.

The convocation ceremony was held at the school’s permanent site, CAC Convention Ground, Imose-area, Ilesa, Osun State.

Out of the 366 graduands, 40 students graduated in the degree programme, 109 students in the diploma progamme and 217 in the Certificate programme.

While ministering at the programme on the topic "Building the Temple in Silence", the General Superintendent of CAC Worldwide, Pastor Samuel O. Oladele said we are living in a day of noisy advertisement and many who think they have ministry were never commissioned by Christ.

The General Superintendent said Christ's Kingdom was not built in noise, but in silence, telling the graduands that the only reason God has called them is to be fishers of men.

According to him, preparation for the ministry is not at the Bible College or Theological Seminary, but at the quarry of God where He shapes, refines and remoulds anyone He wants to use.

He told the graduands that for them to be useful till the very end they must allow God's dynamite to blow them away, noting that it is a process many are yet to be subjected to.

The Coordinator, CAC Babajide School of Prophets and Evangelists, Pastor A.A. Abayomi

charged the graduands to shun worldliness and its antics, preach the undiluted message of the Gospel from spoken and unspoken perspectives and exhibit godliness and contentment in all things.

He further said they should be loyal to God and constituted authority and always remember that they are stewards who will give account to their Father in Heaven.

The Provost of CAC Theological Seminary, Ile-Ife, Pastor Stephen O.A. Afolabi urged the graduands not to start to feel that they are fulfilled, saying that they have not started at all.

He urged them not to rest on their oars but forge ahead to update themselves in order not to be outdated and then fossilized.

Pastor Afolabi said the graduands have succeeded in joining the lucky ones in the world of intellectuals, urging them not to start feeling fulfilled.

The Chairman, CAC Theological Seminary Governing Council, Pastor E.S. Famiyide told the graduands that they are graduating from the institution but not graduating from the presence of God.

He said the eyes of the Lord are upon them, therefore, they should behave themselves in a manner worthy of acceptance to God and uphold the integrity of the Seminary, saying they are the image of the Seminary anywhere they go.

Pastor Famuyide further said they should be kind enough to always remember their alma mater in their prayers and as the Lord blesses them, they should not forget their source.
