On Sunday, 6th September 2020, Pastor Olu Mike Omoasegun was inducted as the District Superintendent of Christ Apostolic Church, Yobe District, Maiduguri Zone, Adelaja Region.
Gracing the event were ministers of God from all assemblies in the Bade LGA and the Zone, led by Pastor S. A Olajugba, the Zonal Superintendent of Maiduguri Zone, the Zonal Secretary and others.
The message preached by the Zonal Superintendent of Maiduguri, Pastor Olajugba emphasized on the usefulness of unity in relation to progress.
The message was titled: "One Fold, One Shepherd" taken from Gospel of St John chapter 10 verses 14 to 18 focused on three major points namely, rejoice always, reflect always and remember always.
He said that these key points should always be our mold, commitment and a light that attracts people to God's fold.
He said everyone present at the service should always rejoice, reflect and remember and should know there is a role to play for the progress and unity of Yobe District, Maiduguri Zone and CAC Worldwide.
According to him, "if we're really for Christ in God's business and the unity of brethren, then our unity should be a unity of purpose that glorifies God."
He concluded that we should remember the second coming of the Lord Jesus Christ is at hand and everybody should prepare for Him.
Pastor Omoasegun appreciated the CAC authority, all and sundry who attended the induction service, while appreciating the members for their support and love for him.
