In a bid to empower and eradicate unemployment among our youths in the Church, the Youth Directorate of Christ Apostolic Church, Worldwide, has inaugurated Youth Capacity Development and Empowerment Project Committee.

The committee which was inaugurated at the General Secretariat of CAC Worldwide in Basorun, Ibadan is charged with the responsibility of identifying aspects and means of developing the youth.

Other responsibilities of the committee are to generate ideas to empower youth of CACYOF, develope an investment scheme that will help to drive the financiers for this vision, identify professionals willing to volunteer to further the cause of this vision, liaise with church leadership for appropriate support via the office of the Youth Officer, supervise, coordinate, monitor and regulate the dissemination of these empowerment efforts at the regional and state, District and local levels, and regularly furnish the youth office with reports for progress monitoring.

While preaching at the inauguration service, the Youth Officer of CAC Worldwide, Pastor Samson O. Gbuyiro said one of the best interests of Christ is that His people should prosper in all areas of their endeavours.

He said the moment people gave their lives to Christ, what should be focused on is fulfilment of divine purpose.

Pastor Gbuyiro told the committee that CAC is blessed if only we harness blessings of God in the Church, adding that the kingdom of God is so blessed to the level that there is enough blessing for everyone.

  1. The news is a welcome information. But my own contribution is that the two factions should make it a reality. We have been having this information since year 2001. And in 2013 when God sent me to the leaders of the Supreme council and the Executive council, I made it cleared to Baba Olagunju and Baba Akinosun that those that really involved in the crisis have died, hence we should give peace a chance. Baba Pastor Olagunju invited me to CAC. IREFIN to addressed the Supreme council members which I did. Baba Pastor Abraham Akinosun called a Unity prayer at Ikeji Arakeji Babalola mirracle Camp on the 19th December 2013 on the same matter. To my surprise another meeting was called at Akure to tackle the one at Ikeji Arakeji. Being an insider, I have the records of deaths of those inciator of this crucri, none of them died a peaceful death. So with the new step now, I am appealing to everyone to give peace a chance. As God promised in 2013 that He will shake his church which He did. He will do more than that any time from now. CAC The church of the living God.

  2. Nice move. But then no Igbo person in the committee. Are we only good in contributing money for the mission's growth? It's high time this mindset is changed.
